Dr. Moreno is a licensed clinical psychologist and an Assistant Professor of Public Health Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She also serves as the Lead of Evidence-Based Survivorship and Supportive Care at the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center. The goal of her research is to improve quality of life and to help every person with cancer live as well as possible. Dr. Moreno was recently awarded a $5.2 million R01/R37 MERIT Award from the National Cancer Institute and has received grants from the American Cancer Society, National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities, V Foundation, and John Templeton Foundation. In addition to her research, Dr. Moreno has experience providing evidence-based therapy to English- and Spanish-speaking cancer patients across 3 NCI-designated cancer centers: UCLA, Duke University, and Northwestern University.
