Rich Eisen

Rich Eisen is one of sports media’s most recognizable personalities. In September 2025, he returned to ESPN by bringing his Emmy-nominated Rich Eisen Show to ESPN+ and Disney+. It streams live weekdays from noon–3 PM ET and simulcast on ESPN Radio and Sirius/XM. 

Since launching in 2014, the show has become a leader in sports conversation, blending sports, humor, and pop culture with a wide-ranging roster of marquee guests. It has earned multiple Emmy nominations, and in 2023 Eisen received the prestigious Marconi Radio Award for “Network/Syndicated Personality of the Year.”

Guests have included sports icons such as Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Deion Sanders, along with Hollywood stars including Robert De Niro, Jerry Seinfeld, Jodie Foster, Larry David, Matthew McConaughey, Paul Rudd and Morgan Freeman.

Eisen began his national career on ESPN’s SportsCenter in 1993 before joining the NFL Network in 2003. Now in his 22nd season, he serves as the network’s signature host, anchoring the premiere Sunday morning pregame show NFL GameDay Morning, emceeing the Pro Football Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, and leading coverage of the NFL Draft, Scouting Combine, and Super Bowl.

He also handles the play-by-play duties for NFL International Games on NFL Network, and served as the first ever voice of YouTube’s coverage of the National Football League, calling São Paulo, Brazil matchup featuring the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers.

Beyond broadcasting, Eisen is a tireless supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. His annual “Run Rich Run” event has raised more than $8 million, earning him the Pat Summerall Award at the Legends of Charity Dinner at Super Bowl LI in Houston, Texas.

A graduate of the University of Michigan, Eisen earned his master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Emmy Award-winning broadcaster Suzy Shuster, their three children, and two rescue dogs.
